Ebastine is used for the symptomatic treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and to improve itiching and to reduce new weal formation in urticaria of unclear origin
It is used:
- For the symptomatic treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis with or without allergic conjunctivitis
- To improve itching and to reduce new weal formation in urticaria of unclear origin
- Hypersensivity to ebastine or to any of the excipients of this medicine
- Severe hepatic insufficiency
- It is preferable to avoid the use of this medicine during pregnancy
- It is preferable to avoid the use of this medicine during breastfeeding
- This medicine is recommended for children 12 years and above
- This medicine has negligible influence on the ability to drive and use machines
Please inform your doctor in case you are taking any of the following medicines:
- Ketoconazole or Erythromycin
- Antihistamine
- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
- This medicine should be taken unchewed with liquid
- This medicine can be taken at meal times or independently of meals
- Somnolence, Headache
- Dry mouth
- Epistaxis, Pharyngitis, Rhinitis
- Nausea, Abdominal pain, Dyspepsia
- Dizziness, Asthenia, Insomnia
- General nervousness
- Dysaesthesia
- Tachycardia, Palpitations
- Sinusitis
- Vomiting
- Abnormal liver function test
- Exanthema, Urticaria, Eczema, Rash, Dermatitis
- Dysmenorrhoea, Menstrual disorders
- Oedema
- Keep away from sight and reach of children
- Do not store above 25° C
- Store in the original package in order to protect from light
