Butenafine is an antifungal medication that is used to trear fungal skin infections. It works by preventing the growth of fungus that cause infections
It is used for to treat:
- Fungal skin infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm infections
- Allergic to butenafine hydrochloride or any other ingredients of this medicine
- Medical history, especially of: athlete's foot on the bottom/side of the foot.
- Ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine if you are pregnant or plan to be pregnant. This medicine should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed
- Ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine if you are breast-feeding or planning to breastfeed as it is not known whether this medicine passes into breast milk
- Not recommended for children below 12 years of age
- Not recommended for alduts over 60 years of age
